Role overview

Little Journey is building Trial Flow, a participant support platform for clinical trials.

The Senior Delivery Manager leads implementation for pharmaceutical clients, coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, compliant projects focused on sponsor and patient outcomes.

The role reports to the Delivery Lead and works with Sales, Product, Technology, Design, Content, and Clinical teams.

Delivery and collaboration

  • Own client delivery from Statement of Work handover through implementation and closure, meeting scope, milestones, quality standards, and SLAs.
  • Manage concurrent clinical-trial implementations and site activations, including delivery priorities, timelines, resourcing, dependencies, risks, and change control.
  • Maintain delivery artefacts and reporting, coordinate operational readiness and compliance, and support decision-making.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, clarify requirements, set expectations, and build trusted senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, advocate for customer needs, and unblock issues across teams.
  • Drive site activation, training, onboarding, launch, and adoption; monitor usage and intervene when performance is off track.
  • Capture customer and site feedback and translate it into product, process, training, or rollout improvements.
  • Manage escalations and risks, improve delivery processes and tools, and contribute to quality, efficiency, and scalability initiatives.

Required experience and skills

  • Extensive experience as a technical project or delivery manager for complex technology projects with enterprise customers in a fast-paced tech start-up or scale-up.
  • Proven delivery excellence and high quality standards across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong experience managing senior customer relationships and influencing outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize cross-functional work, manage dependencies, and resolve competing demands and ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation with senior decision-makers, including handling challenging conversations and conflicting priorities.
  • Track record of process improvement that improves customer outcomes.

Desirable experience

  • Customer success experience driving customer and end-user outcomes is desirable.
  • Experience with Jira and the Atlassian product suite is desirable.
  • Healthtech, life sciences, or adjacent B2B experience is desirable.
  • Commercial awareness balancing delivery decisions with contractual scope and customer value is desirable.

Work arrangement

  • Full-time role, either hybrid in Leeds or fully remote within the UK.
  • Travel may be required from time to time.

Pay and benefits

  • Gross salary is £62,000–£68,000 per year.
  • Benefits include 28 days of annual leave plus public holidays, a £500 annual training budget, a one-off £200 home-working budget, up to 6% pension match, EMI share options, and enhanced family and parental leave.
