Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases and support finance-system integrations.
• Maintain encryption, secure connectivity, configurations, and access policies.
• Support Azure Arc, VNets, Gateways, data pipelines, and Power Platform workflows.
• Perform disaster recovery, backup, and restore procedures; participate in on-call rotation.
• Contribute to automation, modernization, audit readiness, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Support, Business Systems, and Development teams; document processes and share knowledge.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience and 2 years of PostgreSQL administration.
• Strong SQL tuning, indexing, optimization, production support, incident management, deployment, and configuration experience.
• Experience with integrations such as SSIS, APIs, and ETL tools; knowledge of security, governance, and audit requirements.
• Hands-on database encryption experience, including TDE or Always Encrypted, and practical Azure hybrid-connectivity experience.
• Experience with Power Platform and supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Knowledge of Master Data Services, SSRS, SSIS, or on-premises Power BI Report Server.

Preferred qualifications

• Business Central, Adaptive Insights, MIS_CAM Engine, Power Platform, and PowerShell experience are preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments is preferred.

Compensation

• Hiring range is $92,500–$110,000; placement depends on qualifications, experience, market conditions, and internal equity.
• Performance-based bonus is offered.
