About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a strong Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, Azure APIs, and modern data pipeline tools to design and deliver scalable data solutions.
The role focuses on extracting data from Snowflake, transforming it, and publishing it securely to Azure for external consumption.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data integration workflows
- Extract data from Snowflake, perform transformations, and load to Azure platform
- Build and publish secure APIs on Azure for external data consumers
- Implement API management and governance for data access
- Develop data warehouse structures and dimensional data models
- Build transformation logic using DBT, StreamSets, and Airflow
- Design reporting datasets and enable analytics consumption
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and reliability
- Support dashboarding and reporting requirements (Tableau – good to have)
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Snowflake and data extraction
- Expertise in Azure API development & API Management
- Hands-on with StreamSets Data Collector
- Experience with Apache Kafka
- Strong knowledge of DBT and transformation frameworks
- Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration
- Database experience with PostgreSQL with Citus
- Strong data warehousing & dimensional modeling knowledge
- Data pipeline development and ETL/ELT architecture experience
- Pay range and compensation package
Salary
Budget: 18-21K AED per month with Single Benefits
