Senior CyberSecurity Engineer

About This Role

🚀 Welcome to Your Next Adventure! We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure controls, networks, and applications that protect Snoonu’s sensitive data and assets from cyber threats. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong ownership, and the ability to drive security initiatives end-to-end.

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

• Own and optimize security tooling ecosystem (SIEM, XDR, DLP, IAM, MDM, WAF, etc.)
• Led, Design, implement, and maintain security controls and countermeasures.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
• Design and implement identity and access control policies (RBAC, ABAC).
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and post-incident improvements.
• Oversee implementation of secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (MFA, SSO, conditional access).
• Develop and implement secure network solutions.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and outreach.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities, manage patches, and ensure system hardening.

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

• 5+ years in a hands-on security-focused role.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, ISO27001).
• Experience securing cloud applications and environments (AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of diverse Security Solutions: EDR, MDM, DLP, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, or similar tools.
• Understanding of basic network security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong knowledge of phishing techniques, detection, and mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning.

✨ Bonus Points If You Have

• Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security.
• Pentesting experience or a strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, etc.).
• Experience with security automation and machine learning.
