About the role

Presales and solution architecture

• Lead technical discovery with security, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders; translate findings into solution architectures and bills of materials.
• Own technical responses to enterprise and public-sector RFPs and RFIs, including compliance mapping.
• Run competitive vendor evaluations, positioning solutions on architecture and operating model.

Proof of concept and delivery

• Plan and run proofs of concept in live client environments, with written success criteria agreed in advance.
• Lead delivery across EDR/XDR, privileged access, data classification and DLP, email security and authentication, vulnerability management, and offensive validation.
• Hand engagements over to operations with documented design decisions.

SOC and automation

• Own SOC platform collection, processing, storage architecture, retention, custom parsers, correlation rules, and multi-tenant MSSP onboarding.
• Build and maintain SOAR playbooks for phishing triage, enrichment, and containment.
• Tune detections to keep alert volumes actionable.

Compliance, team, and enablement

• Map controls to NESA, CBUAE, DESC, ADGM, DIFC, UAE PDPL, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001; produce audit evidence.
• Set security team technical standards and methodology, mentor engineers, and deliver client and partner training and workshops.

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years in cyber security, including at least 3 years in the UAE or GCC market.
• Hands-on SIEM/SOC engineering experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or equivalent, plus SOAR playbook experience.
• Experience running proofs of concept and technical evaluations through to a client decision.
• Experience writing RFP/RFI responses and solution designs for regulated or government clients; working knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on depth in at least three of EDR/XDR, PAM, email security/DMARC, DLP and data classification, vulnerability management, or offensive validation.
• Team leadership or mentoring experience; a relevant bachelor’s degree; and a current OSCP, CEH, CompTIA CySA+, Pentest+, or equivalent certification.

Preferred qualifications

• OSCP or comparable offensive-security certification.
• Microsoft security stack experience, including Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Sentinel, or Defender.
• SOC/SIEM and SOAR platform vendor certifications; penetration testing or secure-code-review background.
