Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to manage cost control activities for an infrastructure project.
The role focuses on budget monitoring, cost forecasting, and performance analysis to support effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project budgets and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
- Monitor actual costs, commitments, and accruals against approved budgets.
- Analyze cost variances, identify potential overruns, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and Estimates at Completion (EAC).
- Measure project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Assess the cost impact of variations, scope changes, and subcontractor works.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, finance, and site teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience, including substantial cost control experience with main contractors.
- Proven experience in roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and EVM.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Oracle and Power BI experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
