Overview
Esnad Contracting Company is looking for a Material Expediter to join its team in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
- Track purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing progress, inspections, shipping, and delivery dates.
- Identify potential delays, material shortages, and supply chain risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Project teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Expedite critical and long-lead materials to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate material tracking logs, supplier commitments, and outstanding delivery records.
- Coordinate material inspections, shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery requirements.
- Prepare regular material status reports and provide progress updates to management.
- Follow up on corrective actions to resolve delayed or incomplete deliveries.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in material expediting, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or contracting projects is preferred.
- Good understanding of purchase orders, supplier coordination, and material delivery processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and reporting skills.
