Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contract management across pre- and post-contract stages for major projects.

Key requirements

• RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline; MRICS or FRICS chartership is essential.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE or wider GCC.
• Proven pre-contract leadership covering cost planning, estimating, pricing, and procurement on major projects.
• Expert FIDIC knowledge covering drafting, amendment, administration, and claims.
• Working knowledge of UAE Civil Code construction provisions, including decennial liability, liquidated damages, and time bars.
• Strong claims, extensions-of-time, quantum, and dispute-avoidance track record; arbitration or expert support is advantageous.
• Experience in procurement, tendering, cost planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Strong UAE market benchmarking and pricing knowledge, including rates, trends, and cost drivers.
