Job Summary

The Payment Collection Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounts receivable and collection processes to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.

The role involves managing a collections team, developing effective recovery strategies, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the collections team to achieve monthly and annual recovery targets.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts and bad debts.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure timely payments and resolve billing disputes.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements in line with company policies.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities in the system.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to resolve client issues impacting payments.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance, KPIs, and risk exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE laws, contractual terms, and internal financial controls.
  • Escalate delinquent accounts and coordinate legal action when necessary.
  • Continuously improve collection processes and systems for efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control and collection practices in the UAE.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage a team and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Experience in industries such as construction, logistics, or services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal procedures related to debt recovery in the UAE.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10.00 - AED20.00 per month
