Maklad Design is seeking a Senior Civil Site Engineer for a fast-track external works project in Dubai.
The initial appointment is a 60-day project-based contract with potential continued employment based on performance.
Immediate joiners are requested, and the work location is in person.
Site Execution
- Lead daily site execution and ensure the project meets the 60-day programme.
- Manage civil, infrastructure, and specialist subcontractors across the project.
- Supervise earthworks, excavation, grading, road base, site preparation, RCC foundations, plinths, and concrete works.
- Coordinate fencing, gates, barriers, porta cabins, temporary structures, paving, interlock, access, and external works.
- Coordinate drainage, water supply, MEP works, and DEWA-approved electrical contractors or engineers.
Technical and Project Controls
- Review drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Manage inspections, RFIs, technical submissions, and authority requirements.
- Monitor programme, manpower, productivity, delays, quantities, progress, and variations.
- Maintain daily progress, manpower, and site reports.
- Manage snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–8+ years of UAE experience in civil construction, infrastructure, and external works.
- Strong experience in earthworks, RCC, fencing, external utilities, drainage, and paving.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors on fast-track projects.
- Strong site leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Dubai Municipality or government project experience is strongly preferred.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
- Candidates must have proven civil, infrastructure, and external works site execution experience, not primarily interior fit-out experience.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 5,000 per month.

- Work is performed in person in Dubai, UAE.
