Production Line Supervisor

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Organize and monitor production-floor workflow and allocate workforce, materials, and machinery to meet output targets.
• Interpret production requirements, specifications, and joinery shop drawings to ensure components meet design specifications.
• Enforce fabrication quality checkpoints to reduce defects and material waste and achieve high-end finishes.
• Supervise technicians, assembly workers, and machinery operators; enforce UAE HSE standards and company rules.
• Track milestones and coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Design to prevent bottlenecks and delays.
• Monitor material usage and oversee routine machinery and equipment maintenance scheduling.
• Submit daily production summaries, material usage charts, and manpower logs to the Production Manager.

Required qualifications and skills

• At least 3 years of UAE experience as a Production Supervisor, Line Lead, or Foreman in joinery, custom furniture, or interior fit-out.
• Deep knowledge of custom manufacturing, wood, metal, glass, and solid surface materials, hardware configurations, and finishing standards.
• Advanced ability to read 2D/3D shop drawings and translate them into cutting lists and fabrication blueprints.
• Leadership ability to manage multicultural workshop teams under deadline pressure.
• Solid spoken and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and general inventory or ERP systems.

Valued qualification

• A diploma or technical degree in Engineering, Wood Technology, Industrial Management, or a related discipline is highly valued.
