Senior Civil Engineer

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Review civil engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, specifications, technical studies, and submissions for compliance with standards, regulations, client requirements, and project objectives.
• Evaluate methodologies, constructability, maintainability, operational performance, safety, and lifecycle considerations for civil infrastructure works.
• Review site development, grading, earthworks, utility corridors, infrastructure networks, and associated civil works.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews across civil, roads, drainage, utilities, irrigation, transportation, landscape, and other infrastructure systems.
• Review technical deviations, design modifications, value engineering proposals, and construction methodologies.
• Provide recommendations on engineering risks, constructability, cost, schedule, quality, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors, utility providers, government authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare technical assessments, review comments, reports, executive summaries, and recommendations.
• Participate in technical workshops, design coordination meetings, multidisciplinary reviews, and stakeholder sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Chartered Professional membership or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in civil engineering, infrastructure delivery, land development, transportation, utilities, or major capital projects.
• Experience in PMCM, PMC, consultancy, developer, contractor, or client-side organizations.
• Experience on major infrastructure and land development programs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
