Role overview
Senior Civil Design Engineer working on utility-scale, ground-mounted Solar PV projects.
The role is part of the engineering design team and is focused on hands-on civil design, not site supervision, structural-only work, or drafting-only work.
Projects may be in the Middle East, Africa, or Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Design site grading, terrain development, and land preparation.
- Prepare cut-and-fill calculations and earthworks designs.
- Design access roads and internal infrastructure.
- Design stormwater drainage and underground utilities.
- Design foundations, groundworks, and other detailed civil engineering elements.
- Independently prepare and deliver complete EPC/EPCM civil design packages.
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven civil design experience in utility-scale Solar PV projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D is an advantage.
- Ability to independently handle detailed engineering design and calculations.
- UAE/GCC and international EPC project experience is preferred.
