Overview

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Monitor strategic-plan execution and performance indicators, analyze outputs, and submit reports to leadership.
  • Identify focus areas and strategic challenges, track departmental progress, and submit periodic reports to the concerned departments.
  • Recommend actions aligned with government directions, ensure executive plans are prepared with concerned departments, and monitor their execution.
  • Follow up performance of main committees chaired by leadership with concerned departments.
  • Supervise important committees, review outputs, submit performance reports, and recommend corrective actions on deviations.
  • Participate in project-management policies and methodologies and update processes as required.
  • Develop continuous-improvement plans for planned project-management processes in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Participate in developing and implementing partnerships within Dubai in organizational project management (OPM).

Operations

  • Prepare and review technical project reports and dashboards; oversee the organizational unit management system.
  • Review project reports and documents received from sectors and institutions and provide technical opinions.
  • Review audit reports for construction, engineering, IT, and other projects with involved teams.
  • Monitor and manage project-management plan modelling, follow up implementation, and provide plan updates.
  • Act as the senior point of contact with institutions for project-management tracking tools and information needs.
  • Establish and maintain required processes and documents related to assigned tasks, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports on billboards for leadership submission.
  • Prepare reports and ad-hoc requests on project status and monitoring as required.
  • Prepare and follow up project-related instructions and project-management reports
  • Participate in preparing corporate PMO messages/news and training plans for PM Management and EPMO Project Management Committee.
  • Participate in projects, cross-functional teams, and committees as required.
  • Monitor the use of tools to obtain project-specific information and drive adoption improvements.
  • Perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Prepare for leadership technical meetings and visits, including agendas, documents, and minutes; support external boards/committees’ sessions.
  • Follow up on complaints and technical suggestions addressed to leadership with concerned entities and sectors.

Process And Product Improvement

  • Coordinate data, systems, and work tools with concerned departments to enable timely, informed decisions by leadership.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree/ master’s degree in civil/ mechanical/ electrical engineering, Industrial Engineering

Experience

  • 11+ Years in case of master’s degree, 9+ years in case of bachelor’s degree
