Role overview

The Senior Business Systems Analyst supports PGIM Private Capital’s technology, applications, processes, and reporting solutions.

The role drives annual IT roadmap project delivery, independently owning business analysis, requirements, stakeholder follow-up, and delivery coordination.

The analyst works with business users, technology partners, QA, vendors, and cross-functional teams across project and software development lifecycles.

Analysis and delivery

  • Lead requirements sessions and turn business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and delivery-ready documentation.
  • Analyze current and future processes, data flows, integrations, reports, and operational impacts.
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing coordination, defect triage, and release readiness.
  • Plan UAT, define test scenarios, coordinate business validation, track defects, and confirm requirements before release.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability across requirements, tests, defects, and delivery outcomes.

Coordination and communication

  • Act as liaison between business partners and IT development and ensure requirements align with Private Credit and technology standards.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, QA, and delivery teams; manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, and follow-up.
  • Summarize issues, escalate risks and blockers, and prepare updates for business and technology leadership.
  • Research alternatives and recommend efficient, cost-effective solutions.

Required qualifications

  • At least 3 years of IT experience focused on business analysis and project coordination, with emphasis on business analysis and independent requirements ownership.
  • Experience with Agile delivery practices, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, testing coordination, and release readiness.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools to manage requirements, backlogs, defects, dependencies, status, and traceability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including work with large data sets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, build relationships, communicate clearly, troubleshoot, and identify risks and dependencies.
  • Ability to read API messaging and understand platform flows and integrations.

Preferred experience

  • Financial services experience is a plus.
  • Strong Power Platform knowledge, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, is a plus.
  • Database and SQL knowledge is preferred.
  • Integrations, reporting, and migrations across back-office and middle-office financial platforms are a plus.
