Senior Business Solutions Analyst

The Position

Business and Stakeholder Partnership

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate workshops to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
• Align business stakeholders and IT delivery teams on scope, priorities, and outcomes.

Analysis and Requirements Leadership

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex enterprise initiatives and sustainment work.
• Document processes, functional requirements, data definitions, and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain data mappings for integrations, migrations, and reporting.
• Create business requirements, user stories, process maps, and use cases.
• Ensure requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Solution Enablement

• Evaluate solution options and tradeoffs with architects, product analysts, and delivery teams.
• Resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues between systems.
• Validate business fit, impacts, and downstream implications.
• Lead system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Continuous Improvement and Leadership

• Improve business processes, data quality, and system usage.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for business and operational challenges.
• Mentor junior and intermediate business analysts.
• Promote consistent analysis practices, templates, and standards.
• Support change management and adoption activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of Business Analyst or Business Solutions Analyst experience.
• Experience in Finance, HR, Operations, or Engineering domains.
• Experience with large enterprise platforms and complex integrations.
• Ability to lead analysis for large cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Business Analysis certification is an asset.
