Job Purpose
The Senior Business Development Specialist is responsible for providing strategic perspective through the conduct of business research and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and establish contact with targeted companies to expand the brand portfolio with new lines of business, following the company's needs and guidelines.
- Coordinate with mall management to obtain approval for new concepts.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research and survey to support strategic and business planning.
- Carry out functional supervisory responsibilities, involving the planning and assignment of tasks, setting deadlines, monitoring results and quality, providing training, and relaying the team's requests to the hierarchy.
- Collaborate with the financial team on brand adoption, including margin files and profit-loss projections, to decide on the expansion or termination of business partners.
- Prepare internal work programs to implement the approved business strategy.
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Four to six years of experience in Retail/Fashion, or a similar role.
