Job Title: Senior Business Development – Aerated Concrete Products (Siporex)
Job Summary
We are seeking a
Senior Business Development
professional to drive growth for our
aerated concrete (Siporex) product
lines across KSA.
The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, expanding sales channels, and achieving revenue targets through consultative selling and strong market execution.
1. **Market & Business Growth**
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for aerated concrete products (Siporex blocks/panels and related solutions).
- Map and analyze the Saudi market, including target segments such as Ministries, contractors, developers, MEP/finishing contractors, consultants, and distributors.
- Develop and execute business development plans to meet annual and quarterly sales targets.
1. **Customer & Stakeholder Management**
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across:
- Main contractors and subcontractors
- Developers and property owners
- Architectural and engineering consultants
- Building materials distributors and channel partners
- Government or semi-government construction entities (as applicable)
- Conduct technical and commercial discussions, aligning product capabilities with project requirements.
1. **Project Pipeline Development**
- Maintain accurate CRM records and develop a healthy pipeline for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Forecast sales and report pipeline health, conversion rates, and target achievement.
1. **Competitive & Technical Positioning**
- Understand competitors, pricing structures, lead times, and product specifications.
- Promote the technical advantages of Siporex/aerated concrete (e.g., thermal/acoustic performance, speed of installation, and project suitability).
- Support product approvals and documentation required for tenders and vendor registration.
1. **Partnerships & Channels**
- Identify and establish partnerships with
- Ministries, Consultants and contractors.
- Negotiate commercial terms and agreements to expand market reach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
- Business Administration, Civil/Arch.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- .
- **5+ years**
- of business development or sales experience in
- building materials
- (preferred: AAC/aerated concrete, cement/concrete products, insulation, masonry systems, or construction).
- Strong understanding of
- Saudi construction market dynamics
- and tender/project cycles in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a sales pipeline.
Technical / Behavioral Competencies
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (Arabic and English preferred).
- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple accounts/projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze market and competitor data.
Preferred Experience (Highly Valuable)
- Experience selling
- aerated concrete / AAC blocks/panels
- or similar masonry/building envelope products.
- Experience working with
- contractors, developers, and consultants
- on building materials specifications and approvals.
- Experience supporting
- vendor registration, tenders, and prequalification
- processes.
