Join FDM’s transformation team as a Senior Data Business Analyst on an initial six-month fixed-term contract.
The role is based in or around Edinburgh on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Trace data from source systems through to reporting outputs, identifying dependencies and data flows.
- Investigate reporting issues, underlying data, logic and potential causes.
- Analyse calculation logic and data to interpret reporting outputs accurately.
- Use SQL and data analysis techniques to interrogate datasets and support investigations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers on data and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills, including the ability to investigate and interpret complex data.
- Experience tracing data from source through to reporting outputs and investigating reporting issues.
- Ability to analyse calculation logic in a data and reporting environment.
- Confident collaboration with business stakeholders and developers.
- Asset management, investment data, ESG/sustainability reporting and/or regulatory reporting experience is desirable.
