Analyze, document, and manage requirements for fleet management and vehicle tracking solutions.
Translate customer, operational, and business needs into testable requirements and connect stakeholders with product, design, development, and QA teams.
Key accountabilities
- Gather stakeholder requirements and facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions.
- Analyze fleet, vehicle tracking, and mobility processes, including trips, vehicle status, driver behavior, geofencing, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Prepare BRDs, user stories, functional specifications, business rules, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and use cases; assess current and future-state processes.
- Define dashboard, reporting, and KPI requirements and validate reporting outputs.
- Document requirements for APIs, tracking devices, telematics platforms, and external systems.
- Support backlog prioritization, change assessment, refinement, and release planning.
- Develop UAT scenarios and test cases, validate features, and track defects and outcomes.
- Comply with applicable departmental, safety, quality, environmental, and information security practices.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, digital products, product development, fleet management, mobility solutions, or related domains.
- Experience managing requirements and preparing user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process documentation.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum and with Jira or Azure DevOps; practical understanding of APIs and integrations.
- Experience using SQL and Excel for analysis, validation, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fleet management, vehicle tracking, telematics, IoT, transportation, mobility, or SaaS familiarity is preferred.
