Senior Business Analyst (Identity)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Discover users, entitlements, risks, dependencies and access processes with application, business, security and service owners.
• Plan and facilitate workshops and align stakeholders on goals.
• Map current- and target-state access journeys, including requests, approvals, provisioning, reviews, changes and removals.
• Assess identity processes against best practice and standards and identify efficiencies.
• Document integration requirements for Microsoft Entra or an equivalent identity provider.
• Help test products and deliver identity projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Create supportable RBAC models and onboarding requirements from complex or undocumented needs.

Essential experience and requirements

• Proven business analysis or IAM analysis experience in identity, security, access management or application onboarding.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, access requests, approvals, provisioning, recertification and deprovisioning.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing work through governance, testing, approval and handover in Agile or iterative delivery.
• Present findings to project teams using facts and evidence.
• Able to travel to client sites weekly.
• Active SC or CTC clearance is required for eligibility.

Desirable experience

• Experience with Microsoft Entra Enterprise Applications, Entitlement Management, access packages or group-based assignment.
• Knowledge of segregation of duties, privileged access, least privilege and audit-control requirements.
• Experience onboarding SaaS, cloud-hosted, legacy or bespoke applications with differing integration capabilities.
• Familiarity with service design, process improvement, Azure DevOps or IT service-management tooling.
• Experience in a regulated, safety-critical or complex multi-supplier environment.
