Senior Business Analyst – Securities Services (Techno-Functional)
location : Onsite , Abu Dhabi
Contract : Outsource , 6 Months extendable
Role Summary:
Senior techno-functional role within Technology, accountable for end-to-end business analysis, solution design, and delivery support across Securities Services. Acts as the key link between business and technology, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full business analysis lifecycle (requirements, design, validation, delivery support)
- Lead techno-functional solution design across Custody, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Share Registry, IPO, and Collateral Management
- Translate business and regulatory needs into workflows, data models, and system integrations
- Produce functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, and vendors
- Support UAT, defect management, and release sign-off
- Manage senior stakeholders and communicate risks, progress, and dependencies
- Drive automation, process optimization, and straight-through processing
- Ensure compliance with governance, architecture, and regulatory standards
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years in Banking/Financial Services
- 7+ years in Senior Business Analysis / Techno-functional roles
- 5+ years in Securities & Fund Services domains
- Strong knowledge of securities lifecycle, system architecture, data, and integrations
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, MS Project
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
- Exposure to automation and AI-driven efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Finance, or related field
- Certifications are a plus
