Senior BI Analyst

Job purpose

BI and reporting responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, performance reports, and KPI scorecards.
• Prepare recurring KPI reports, performance dashboards, and management reports for monitoring and executive reporting.
• Visualize trends and results clearly for users across business functions.
• Automate recurring reports and workflows to reduce manual effort and deliver results on time.
• Develop reusable datasets and standardized reports and enable business users to use approved information independently.
• Validate data, calculations, and KPI results; investigate, resolve, or escalate quality issues before publication.
• Monitor dashboard performance, refreshes, and report availability.
• Respond to reporting requests, troubleshoot dashboard issues, and help users interpret BI outputs.
• Document reports, KPI definitions, and calculation rules according to reporting and data governance standards.
• Improve reporting, visualization, and automation processes and keep up to date with BI developments.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or a related field.
• At least 3 years developing dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and visualizations using BI platforms.
• Proficiency in a BI and visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including explaining findings to non-technical audiences.
• Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, work independently, and collaborate across functions.
• Commitment to data confidentiality and responsible information handling.

Preferred experience

• Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or a similarly data-driven industry is preferred.
