Hiring: Senior Barista – Specialty Coffee Shop (Dubai)
We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Senior Barista** to join our team at a specialty coffee shop in Dubai.
If you have a strong background in coffee and matcha preparation, leadership skills, and a love for delivering excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- **Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, matcha, and specialty beverages**
- Demonstrate proper matcha preparation techniques (whisking, temperature control, presentation)
- Lead and support junior baristas during shifts
- Ensure consistency in coffee and matcha quality, taste, and presentation
- Calibrate grinders, dial in espresso, and maintain equipment
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in stock control and inventory management
- Train new team members on coffee and matcha preparation
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and matcha preparation
- Experience handling espresso machines and grinders
- Understanding of different matcha grades and beverage applications
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team player
