We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure that power mission-critical products and platforms.
What You'Ll Do
- Design and develop backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and backend infrastructure.
- Operate and optimize Kubernetes-based environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive reliability, observability, performance, and security best practices.
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
What We'Re Looking For
- 7+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Kotlin, or Go.
- Experience building distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL and scalable data systems.
- Strong understanding of system design, reliability, and observability.
Preferred
- Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
- Experience building internal developer platforms and tooling.
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, vector databases, or retrieval systems.
- Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
