The Trade Marketing Executive role supports the aim to maximize profits by assisting in the development and execution of key marketing strategies and plans that match brand and marketing requirements.
The role will help ensure the development and oversight of key marketing strategies and marketing plans to promote the brand and product across the GCC.
It also entails assisting with elements of creative, analytical, digital, commercial, and administrative responsibilities.
Marketing
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing key marketing strategies and plans for ATL, TTL, and BTL campaigns for the brands.
- Provide support in building and enhancing the image of the brands in line with brand and business objectives through marketing and promotional strategies and plans.
- Help plan monthly and annual consumer promotion plans for retail and distributors in consultation with retail, operations, Brand Managers, and distributors.
- Contribute to the work toward enhancing and increasing the digital footprint of brands on retailer digital and social media, and across various digital platforms.
- Help evaluate marketing investments for effectiveness and suggest strategies to increase the return on marketing investment.
- Assist in planning monthly social media content, thematic materials, content calendars, and copy for use in brand and distributor social media platforms in line with the brand guidelines.
- Assist in planning, executing, and updating the creatives and seasonal thematics at POS, including generic, seasonal, and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the graphic and studio team to assist in managing and executing the briefs for shoots, advertising campaigns, marketing collaterals, and all brand content requirements.
- Assist in leading market research (including competitor analysis) to assess brand positioning and awareness, and help collate competitive research on marketing activities, sales promotions, and offers.
- Help collaborate with influencers and key opinion leaders to secure tie-ups on a gift and barter basis.
- Budgeting and Reporting
- Planning the marketing budget allocation on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis on ATL, TTL, and BTL campaigns.
- Monitoring the marketing spends and budgets on a monthly basis.
- Maintaining budget controls on the allocated marketing budget.
- Assist in reporting marketing spends on a monthly basis.
- Help track and report Sales and Customer target Achievements for campaign and promotional activities on a monthly basis.
- Assist in preparing and reporting post-campaign analysis of all marketing campaigns and promotions.
Marketing Co-Ordination
- Assist in coordinating and working with the Retail and brand managers on a monthly basis to understand and meet their requirements for consumer and staff promotions, tactical campaigns, and other marketing requirements.
- Help coordinate with distributor marketing teams to ensure exposure on social media, participation, and alignment in retail promotional calendars and seasonal co-op campaigns on a monthly basis or as the need arises.
- Assist in coordinating with local suppliers and agencies for quotations, negotiations, deliveries, and payments.
- Help coordinate with other external and internal agencies and suppliers for order placements and printing needs, GVs, and shopping material.
- Assist in coordinating and communicating with the brand marketing team to secure necessary brand approvals on marketing plans, collaterals, and assets.
- Help coordinate with external agencies for media planning, media buying, and securing marketing plan executions as required.
- Assist in creating required documentation for budgetary and reporting purposes.
Pre-Requisites
- Should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree or an MBA in Marketing from a reputed institute.
- Should have up to 1-2 years of work experience in the field of Marketing, with a strong interest or initial exposure to fashion and lifestyle brands in the UAE, preferably within the watch industry.
- Should be enthusiastic, eager to learn and adapt, flexible, and ready to go the extra mile.
- Should be good with MS Office, especially MS Excel, and must have an eye for detail.
