Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in the .NET ecosystem to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that support high-performance, secure, and reliable products.
This role requires hands-on expertise in ASP.NET Core, modern backend architecture, and distributed systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping backend engineering standards, mentoring other developers, and working closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and ASP.NET Core
- Build scalable, high-performance APIs (REST and/or gRPC)
- Contribute to backend architecture and system design decisions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following SOLID principles
- Apply modern design patterns such as Dependency Injection, Repository, CQRS, and Mediator
- Design and work with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Optimize data access, performance, and transaction handling
- Integrate with third-party services and internal platforms
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployments
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core
- Extensive experience with ASP.NET Core
- Solid understanding of APIs, backend security, and distributed systems
- Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework Core
Preferred Experience
- Experience with microservices or modular monolith architectures
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with Docker; Kubernetes exposure is a plus
- Knowledge of message brokers or asynchronous processing
