We are hiring a Senior Azure Solution Architect to join the data practice of a global technology services leader in their UAE offices. As a Senior Azure Solution Architect, you will serve as a pivotal technical leader overseeing the implementation of scalable and secure data solutions. This is a dual focus role combining strategic architectural leadership with hands on delivery. You will guide cross functional teams through the design of end to end data estates while driving the adoption of modern frameworks like Medallion architecture and data mesh.

Beyond technical design, you will act as a primary liaison between senior management and technical teams. You will identify gaps in client data environments and translate those into commercially grounded solution offerings that drive business value.

• Lead the definition of enterprise data strategies and roadmaps on Azure while ensuring alignment with business goals
• Design complex data ingestion and processing solutions leveraging Azure native services and third party tools
• Architect enterprise grade integration and quality solutions using Informatica IDMC including Cloud Data Integration and Profiling
• Oversee data modeling and governance activities using Quest Erwin to ensure consistency across analytical systems
• Implement robust access management strategies including Identity and Access Management and Role Based Access Control
• Drive innovation through the application of agentic AI including RAG and vector embeddings for client ready solutions
• Provide mentorship to data engineering teams while instilling best practices for code quality and performance
• Support presales activities by presenting architectural solutions to executive leadership and stakeholders

Discover the requirements

• 12 or more years of progressive experience in data architecture and solution design
• At least 7 years of experience in a senior leadership or lead architect role
• Significant hands on experience with Informatica IDMC for data integration and quality management
• Advanced application of Quest Erwin Data Modeler for large scale enterprise warehousing projects
• Proven expertise in implementing data governance frameworks and security policies
• Deep understanding of data lake house architectures and Medallion design patterns
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Informatica Architect are highly preferred
