Job Purpose
The Senior Associate supports project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with PMO SOP, accurate documentation, and effective coordination across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- **Project Coordination & Support:**
- Support Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities across all lifecycle phases.
- **Tracking & Reporting:**
- Assist in preparing weekly/bi-weekly project status reports.
- **Documentation & Governance:**
- Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation ensuring compliance with PMO framework, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- **Stakeholder Coordination:**
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to track actions, dependencies, and deliverables.
- **Meetings & Communication Management:**
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- **Risk & Issue Tracking:**
- Identify potential risks and issues and promptly highlight them to the Project Manager for mitigation or escalation.
- **Project Closure:**
- Assist in project closure activities including documentation, sign-offs and archiving.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum of 2-4 years in project coordination with a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple projects.
Certifications
: PMP/CAPM/CSM/CSPO/PRINCE2 foundation, Agile certification, or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and PMO governance.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
