Senior Associate - Corporate
About This Role
We are seeking a high-caliber, bilingual (Arabic/English) Senior Corporate Associate with extensive experience in corporate and commercial advisory, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, corporate structuring, and establishing companies in Qatar and the MENA region.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law and valid legal qualification.
- Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Proven expertise in M&A, joint ventures, corporate structuring, and establishing companies.
- Advanced drafting and negotiation skills across a range of commercial agreements.
- Solid understanding of Qatari legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in regulatory and compliance matters.
- Exposure to tax matters and interactions with the General Tax Authority (GTA)
- Ability to manage complex matters autonomously and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- Sound commercial judgment and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in litigation, employment law, or data privacy matters, as well as an interest in technology and digital innovation, will be considered an advantage.
