Role overview

Role responsibilities

• Assess product marketability against market, customer, technology, and ecosystem demands; create business cases for new products and features.
• Develop product roadmaps and product plans, promote technology trends, and ensure teams understand roadmap direction.
• Market products through technical marketing and customer contact, drive launches, and deliver complex technical presentations.
• Direct product and service development and coordinate with cross-functional teams throughout product lifecycles.
• Define product costs and impacts, work with sales on forecasts, and collaborate on goals, feasibility, KPIs, specifications, and delivery.
• Monitor competitors, technology advances, and product ecosystems to articulate differentiation and identify trends.
• Work independently on complex tasks requiring analysis, problem-solving, creativity, communication, negotiation, and influence.
• The role does not include financial accountability such as budgeting responsibility.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field; the posting also lists engineering, computer science, business, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of product management or related work experience.
• Experience in software product management, platform strategy, product planning, or a related technical discipline.
• A relevant completed master's degree may substitute for one year of work experience, and a doctorate may substitute for two years.
