Join ZoomInfo's Enterprise Data Engineering team as a senior analytics engineer.
Design and own core data infrastructure and models supporting organization-wide, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable models, trusted pipelines, reusable datasets, and semantic models for analytics and reporting.
- Set consistent metrics, dimensions, definitions, and data contracts across teams.
- Improve data infrastructure reliability, performance, observability, and maintainability.
- Implement data quality checks, testing, documentation, lineage, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, strategy, AI platform, analysts, and data scientists.
- Help establish version control, code review, CI/CD, documentation, and deployment standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI engineering, or a related field.
- Strong SQL, complex-query, and dimensional data modeling skills.
- Experience with dbt or a comparable framework and proficiency in Python or another data-processing language.
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses, including one or more of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with data quality, testing, monitoring, documentation, and observability.
- Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving; familiarity with cataloging and lineage tools.
Technology stack
- Warehouse: Snowflake primarily; BigQuery for GCP workloads.
- Ingestion: Fivetran, Airflow, AWS Lambda, and S3 staging.
- Modeling and compute: dbt and Databricks.
- Infrastructure and delivery: Terraform and GitHub; consumption includes Tableau and internal semantic-layer tools.
