Knowledge and Skills

  • Required
  • Skills and experience will be evaluated on a case by case basis, although in general, we’d prefer the following initial qualifications:
  • 1.5+ years of work experience in an SEO-heavy environment and/or specifically with SEO
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of SEO
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Familiarity and experience with Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Brightedge, Conductor, and/or other industry tools
  • Ability to hit deadlines & provide deliverables across several clients at a time
  • A thorough understanding of key search engine ranking factors
  • Ability to conduct relevant keyword research and make recommendations
  • A thorough understanding of and the ability to conduct on-site optimization
  • Proven ability deliver within requirements of strategic SEO campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, Javascript, and/or CSS, a huge plus
  • Experience with local listings management (LLM) and local SEO, a plus
  • Content ideation and content writing ability, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients & account teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with developers & technical team a huge plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations

  • Salary Range: $31.88 to $38.46 an hour. A successful applicant’s actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
