Senior Analyst, Digital Commercial & Financial Solutions

Role purpose

Business needs and solution planning

• Partner with commercial and financial process owners to identify technology needs and develop scalable, agile solutions aligned with digital, cybersecurity and enterprise architecture standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, business cases, requests for proposals and proofs of concept using the group’s project management methodology.
• Review third-party proposals and technical documentation, identify technical concerns and recommend terms to support vendor negotiations.
• Create architecture specifications and high-level design documentation.

Solution development and delivery

• Lead development projects, managing integration, scope, time, cost, quality, people, communications, risks and procurement.
• Capture business requirements; analyze functional needs and recommend solutions and process improvements.
• Design test plans with vendors and internal clients, conduct UAT, document outcomes and ensure quality assurance and release requirements are met.
• Develop system interfaces and secure software where needed; support solution integration, data availability, integrity and service continuity.
• Evaluate, configure, implement, upgrade and maintain ERP and other enterprise solutions; assess change requests from service owners and users.

Operations and collaboration

• Support business users according to service levels and delivery guidelines; provide training during and after solution deployment.
• Prepare and update solution designs, data models, data flow diagrams and system architecture records throughout the development and support lifecycle.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity, information security, service-level management, project reporting, budgeting and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with IT teams, end users, project managers, enterprise architects, group companies, auditors, vendors, consultants and service providers.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate assigned activities and train staff; comply with applicable HSE and sustainability policies.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant IT experience, emphasizing IT solutions, application development and project management.
• Knowledge and experience with IT architecture tools and techniques; understanding of ERP system architecture and solution and technical architecture components.
• IT consultancy and advisory experience and knowledge of IT governance and operations.
• Managing consultant experience from a top-tier IT consultancy firm is preferred.
• Professional certification in Business Solutions/Application Development from a globally recognized institution is preferred.

Solution standards and knowledge

• Develop and maintain best practices and guidelines for commercial and financial solutions in line with the group digital and cybersecurity framework.
• Validate solutions against architecture standards and principles and improve data and application architecture.
• Apply enterprise architecture principles, data management requirements and information security standards throughout solution lifecycles.
