We are building the infrastructure for AI-native commerce.
At Sanal AI, we connect merchants directly to AI agents, enabling seamless product discovery, ordering, and checkout, while merchants retain full control over their systems, data, and payment gateways.
We are looking for a Senior AI Integration Engineer to design and build the integration layer between AI agents and merchant systems.
Role Description
- Design and build integrations between AI agents and merchant systems (APIs, ERPs, eCommerce platforms)
- Develop backend services to support product discovery, order orchestration, and execution
- Integrate payment gateways, while ensuring seamless in-flow checkout experiences
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices
- Work with LLM-based agents and orchestration frameworks (MCP / agent workflows)
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security of integrations
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering or system integrations
- Strong experience with APIs (REST / GraphQL)
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or similar backend technologies
- Experience working with distributed systems or microservices
- Familiarity with AI/LLMs or strong interest in AI-driven systems
- Experience integrating third-party systems (payments, commerce platforms, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
