Manager- AI / Senior AI Engineer

About This Role

Damac Group is hiring AI Managers / Senior AI Engineers to build and deploy production-grade AI systems and data platforms across the business. This is a hands-on engineering role — not research, not experimentation.

About the Role:

You will design, build, and deploy real AI systems and data pipelines that solve operational business problems. You’ll operate as a lead engineer within a small pod , owning delivery from problem definition through to production deployment.

We are hiring across two tracks:

• Data Engineering
• AI/ML Engineering (Gen AI & LLMs)

Key Impact Areas:

• Build and deploy production-grade data pipelines and AI systems
• Translate business use cases into scalable technical solutions
• Develop APIs, workflows, and system integrations across enterprise platforms
• Deliver solutions across AI/ML, Gen AI, LLMs, and automation workflows
• Ensure systems are production-ready, performant, and scalable
• Lead delivery across small engineering pods

Track A – Data Engineering

• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data infrastructure
• Work with cloud data platforms (Databricks)
• Develop batch and streaming data pipelines
• Enable clean, structured data layers for AI/ML systems

Track B – AI/ML Engineering (Gen AI & LLMs)

• Build and deploy AI/ML and LLM-based systems
• Develop RAG pipelines, vector database integrations, and AI workflows
• Work with orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain or similar)
• Deploy models into production environments with real users

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on engineer with real production deployment experience
• High proficiency in Python (and SQL for data track)
• Experience building APIs, pipelines, and distributed systems
• Exposure to LLMs, Gen AI tools, or AI/ML systems in production
• Ability to operate 70–80% hands-on coding
• Strong ownership mindset — you build, ship, and own outcomes
