Senior Accounts Receivable Executive
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Executive to manage the company’s receivables process, ensure timely collections, maintain accurate financial records, and support cash flow management.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience handling customer accounts and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments
- Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and account statements
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments through calls, emails, and meetings
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of receivables transactions and customer communications
- Generate aging reports and analyze receivables status
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment-related issues
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Handle escalated collection matters and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Experience in accounts receivable or credit control
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GCC/UAE accounting practices
- Knowledge of VAT regulations
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Strong customer relationship management skills
