Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including purchases, sales, payments, receipts, bank entries, journal entries, and petty cash.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow Reports, MIS reports, and management reports on time.
• Maintain accurate opening stock, closing stock, stock valuation, inventory reconciliation, and cost of goods sold for the manufacturing business.
• Work closely with factory, warehouse, production, and procurement teams to ensure proper stock movement and inventory accuracy.
• Manage cost accounting, product costing, BOM-based costing, manufacturing cost control, and production cost analysis.
• Prepare and update product cost sheets based on raw materials, packaging materials, labour, overheads, and production data.
• Monitor raw material stock, WIP, finished goods stock, inventory variances, wastage, and production consumption.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, supplier payments, customer receipts, aging reports, and vendor reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, accruals, prepayments, and month-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper GRN posting, purchase invoice verification, supplier statement reconciliation, and documentation control.
• Prepare UAE VAT records, VAT return support, Corporate Tax schedules, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments whenever required.
• Support ERP implementation, ERP accounting process setup, and system improvement. Experience in Odoo ERP is highly preferred.
• Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents, SOPs, and internal controls for finance and inventory operations.
• Provide timely financial data and analysis to management for decision-making.
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and ensure accurate reporting within deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, ACCA, CA Inter, CMA, or related qualification.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably as a Senior Accountant, Senior Accounts Executive, Manufacturing Accountant, Cost Accountant, or General Accountant.
• Must have experience in manufacturing accounting, factory accounting, inventory accounting, or cost accounting.
• Experience in cosmetics manufacturing, FMCG manufacturing, chemicals, personal care, or similar production-based industry will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow, MIS reporting, and month-end closing.
• Strong understanding of opening stock, closing stock, stock valuation, inventory reconciliation, GRN, BOM costing, and COGS.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax basics, audit support, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo ERP, Zoho Books, Tally ERP, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reconciliations, and reporting templates.
• Must be smart, fast, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Should be comfortable working in a challenging manufacturing environment with strict reporting deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills are required to work with production, warehouse, procurement, and management teams.
