Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Complete monthly and yearly closing, journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT filings; calculate and process payroll payments.
• Review sales, purchases, inventory, and cost of goods sold for accurate recording.
• Reconcile transactions across branches and entities and resolve differences.
• Prepare financial reports and explain movements and variances to management.
• Maintain records and controls in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Collaborate across departments and support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Senior-level accounting experience; the summary states 5–7 years while separate fields specify four years.
• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience and Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial analysis.
• Experience in multi-branch or retail environments.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting and ERP-based financial controls is preferred.
