Role Overview
The company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accurate financial reporting, manufacturing cost control, and compliance, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- **Financial Accounting:**
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end/year-end closes, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- **Reporting & Costing:**
- Prepare financial statements and conduct manufacturing cost analyses (COGS, inventory valuation, and fixed assets).
- **Compliance & Audit:**
- Ensure strict compliance with Qatar's local tax laws and regulations; coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- **System Optimization:**
- Utilize advanced ERP systems to streamline and automate daily financial workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- **Experience:**
- 4 to 7 years in accounting.
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- **Languages:**
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
