Overview
We are hiring Senior Accountant for our real estate and investment firm
Role Overview
Responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, transactions, budgeting, compliance, and investor reporting.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
· Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
· Maintain ledgers, rent records, and accounting books
· Prepare investment reports including ROI, revenue, expenses, and profitability
Transaction & Daily Accounting
· Record transactions such as rent, vendor invoices, security deposits, and payouts
· Manage daily bank inflow/outflow and accounting entries
· Track payables, receivables, and outstanding balances
Reconciliations & Cash Flow
· Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
· Monitor cash flow and maintain financial dashboards
· Track cheques, payments, and due schedules
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
· Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
· Provide variance analysis and performance reports
· Support management in cost control and profitability planning
Compliance & Audit Support
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements
· Support internal and external audits
· Maintain proper documentation for all financial activities
Investor & Management Reporting
· Prepare and present financial reports to investors and management
· Share payment confirmations, payout schedules, and financial updates
· Maintain working files for financial records
Team & Process Support
· Supervise and support junior accounting staff
· Improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
