About The Role
We are seeking highly skilled **Senior Accountant** experience in UAE markets, to manage end-to-end accounts payable / receivables functions within our real estate and contracting operations.
The role requires strong expertise in vendor management, ERP systems (Farvision), and financial controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of payments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice verification, posting, and payment processing and real estate development project payments.
- Liaise and negotiate with vendors to ensure timely settlements and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast payables, and prepare payment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including finalization of accounts.
- Generate reports and provide insights into management on payables, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with project and procurement teams to align payables with project budgets and timelines.
- Responsible for preparing and filing VAT returns in compliance with UAE FTA regulations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions.
Requirements
- Solid 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
- Proven track record in accounts payable, receivables within real estate development / contracting / project-based industries.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Farvision (nice to have).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field: professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per hour
