Overview
Our client is looking for an Accountant / Senior Accountant
Reporting Line
Reports to Head Office Finance Team (Hong Kong)
Work Location
Dubai – Work from Home (initial stage)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full set of accounting records and manage daily accounting operations for UAE subsidiaries.
- Handle end-to-end invoicing process, including timely issuance and follow-up on payments.
- Manage revenue billing, ensuring accuracy and timely collection.
- Prepare management accounts, weekly and/or monthly reports, and detailed analysis for submission to headquarters in Hong Kong.
- Prepare and file Corporate Income Tax, Profit Tax, and VAT returns with DMCC Authority.
- Liaise with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
- Handle banking matters and administrative works in DMCC; liaise with Relationship Managers.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting when required.
- Knowledge of international trading is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge and experience in company secretarial matters is an advantage but not essential.
- Ensure timely reporting to the Head Office accounting team in Hong Kong.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Dubai or DMCC.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for

- role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SUN Accounting and Kingdee) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and willing to work from home at the initial stage

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be a Dubai resident and currently in the UAE with a valid visa.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
