This is a full-time, in-person Senior Accountant role located in Abu Dhabi.
Accounting and reporting
- Handle accounting tasks, including voucher preparation, reconciliations, monthly trial balances, and related reports.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain manual and computerized accounting books and ledgers.
- Prepare bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations and report them to the direct manager.
- Prepare detailed schedules for accounts receivable, expenses, fixed assets, and other accounts.
- Prepare financial reports, conduct audits, and recommend improvements to financial procedures.
Transactions, payroll, and coordination
- Validate supporting documents before transactions are entered into the accounting system and review supplier invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Prepare cheques and payroll, verify payroll documents, process payments to banks, and follow up on employees' receipt.
- Verify cash and inventory balances against accounting records.
- Prepare accounts receivable ageing reports and send monthly statements to debtors.
- Coordinate supporting documentation for internal and external audits and collaborate with other departments.
- Follow accounting policies and procedures and perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of accounting experience is required.
- English and Tagalog are required.
- A master's degree is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 7,500 to AED 8,500 per month.
Work location
- The role is in person in Abu Dhabi.
