Accounting and reporting duties
- Handle accounting tasks including voucher preparation, reconciliations, monthly trial balance, and related reports.
- Prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, conduct audits, and recommend improvements to financial procedures.
- Coordinate with departments to align financial practices with organizational goals.
- Prepare accounting records for transactions and validate supporting documents before system entry.
- Implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain manual and computerized accounting books and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and accounts payable and receivable reconciliations; report them to the direct manager.
- Prepare monthly trial balances and detailed schedules for receivables, expenses, fixed assets, and other accounts.
- Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Physically verify cash balances and inventory against accounting records.
- Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and send monthly statements to debtors.
- Review supplier invoices against LPOs and receiving reports before processing transactions.
Payroll, payments, and audits
- Prepare cheques and payrolls and issue necessary transfer letters to employees' banks.
- Review payroll schedules, prepare and verify final documents, process them through the bank, and follow up on employee receipt.
- Coordinate and manage supporting documents for internal and external audits, along with other duties assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications
- Five years of accounting experience is required.
- English, Tagalog, and Bisayan are required languages.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 7,500–8,500 per month.
Work location
- The role is in person in Abu Dhabi.
