Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor project costs, job costing, and budget utilization for contracting and fit-out projects.
• Handle contract accounting, including revenue recognition and project-related financial transactions.
• Manage and monitor **Letters of Credit (LCs)**, bank guarantees, and other trade finance activities.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with Saudi tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support internal and statutory audit activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and cost control.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum **5 years of experience** as a Senior Accountant within the **Contracting, Construction, or Fit-Out industry**.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control.
• Hands-on experience with **Letters of Credit (LCs), contract accounting, and banking transactions**.
• **Previous auditing experience** or experience working with audit firms will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience preparing VAT returns and statutory financial reports.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or SOCPA is an advantage.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Previous experience in external or internal auditing.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• Pay: ﷼7,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month
