Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Group Finance Department, ensuring efficient financial operations across multiple business units.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor project profitability, job costing, and cost control across contracting and fit-out projects.
• Manage **Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, trade finance facilities, and banking relationships**.
• Oversee contract-related financial matters, including project billing, revenue recognition, retention, and contract accounting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, VAT regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, financial governance, and risk management processes.
• Support senior management with financial analysis, business planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the finance team while promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• **15–20 years of finance experience within the UAE Contracting, Construction, or Fit-Out industry is mandatory.**
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager, Group Finance Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong expertise in **Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, trade finance, and contract accounting**.
• Solid experience in project accounting, job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• **Previous auditing experience or experience working with an audit firm is highly preferred.**
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial compliance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a high-performing finance team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as **CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or CFA**.
• Experience managing finance for multi-company or group structures.
• Experience working with large-scale contracting or architectural fit-out organizations.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
