Accounting and reporting
- Record daily financial transactions accurately and on time; maintain and update general ledger accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes; prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Support month-end and year-end closing; assist with financial reports and statements.
- Maintain accounting records and documentation; assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring.
Compliance and coordination
- Help monitor compliance with VAT and UAE financial regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.
- Handle monthly payroll.
Requirements and preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting; familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; accuracy and attention to detail; strong communication skills in English.
- Professional certification or progress toward ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
- Experience working in Dubai or the UAE market; retail experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
