The company seeks an accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations, and support compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, prepare bank reconciliations, and monitor cash flow.
- Support month-end and year-end closing and help prepare financial reports and statements.
- File accounting records and help monitor compliance with VAT and UAE financial regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring; support monthly payroll and the Emirati process in Dubai.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting; familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; accuracy, attention to detail, and strong English communication skills.
- ACCA, CPA, or CMA certification or progress toward one is a plus.
- Dubai or UAE market experience is preferred; retail experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
