Senior Accountant

A. Objective

1. Core Accounting Functions

• Manage and oversee **Accounts Payable (AP)** and **Accounts Receivable (AR)** processes.
• Maintain **Fixed Assets accounting**, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and control **inventory accounting**, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Manage and reconcile **intercompany transactions**.
• Record **accruals, provisions, and amortization entries** accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and review the **Trial Balance** and perform **monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations**.
• Support **month-end and year-end closing processes**.

2. Operational & Specialized Accounting

• Manage **Job Card accounting processes** and ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Process **payroll and WPS** in compliance with UAE labor regulations.
• Handle **banking transactions**, including bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.

3. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations**.
• Assist in preparing **financial statements and management reports**.
• Support **internal and external audit processes** by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to **company policies and procedures**.

4. Ad Hoc Duties & Support

• Provide **financial analysis and reports** as requested by management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by **supervisors or management**.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or a related field**.
• D.

Experience

• **4–8 years** of relevant accounting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to **manage accounting functions independently**.
• E.

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in **Accounts Payable (AP)** and **Accounts Receivable (AR)**.
• Experience working with **ERP systems**.
• Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and good working knowledge of **MS Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)**.
• Strong **analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills**.
• High level of **accuracy and attention to detail**.
• Ability to **work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines**.
